A little bit of history…

We have a long history which starts in 1945, when the company was founded by Howard B. Lucas and traded under the name of H.B. Lucas P/L. It was sold in 1969 to Alan Corrie and subsequently purchased from the family in 1983 by Alexander (Sandy) Corrie who changed the name to Tacspo Distributing (Pty) Ltd.

Today, our customer base comprises major retail marketing groups, independent stores and buying groups in the recreational and other outdoor-related markets. Tacspo represents some of the best-known brands in the industry.
